Melinda Mitchell Shumway
Having lived in Concord for over twenty two years, Melinda has developed an understanding and an appreciation for the workings of the community and surrounding towns. A graduate of Bucknell University, her professional background includes experience in marketing, management and sales positions at ACF Industries, GTE, ROLM, IBM and Siemens.
After the corporate world, Melinda spent twelve years as a trustee of Blair Academy in New Jersey. She has also volunteered locally in the public schools, as well as many other civic organizations for many years. She is currently on the Development Committee of the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts, a board member of the Garden Club of Concord, and on the District Council for the National Charity League, a mother-daughter organization that serves local non-profits. Melinda and her husband have two children who have attended local public and area private schools. Melinda has lived all over the United States and feels she brings to h er real estate clients a breadth of professional experience with an eye focused on the bottom line.
